Return & Refund Policy

At Legacy Auto Authority, we are committed to supplying high-quality cylinder heads and engine components backed by professional service and customer support.

Please read the following Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.


1. Returns Eligibility

Customers may request a return if they believe the supplied item has a defect or issue related to the problem originally stated at the time of purchase or installation.

All return requests must:

  • Be submitted within a reasonable period of 20 days after purchasing the item
  • Include proof of purchase or invoice
  • Clearly state the issue experienced
  • Allow Legacy Auto Authority the opportunity to inspect and assess the returned item

Returned items must not show signs of:

  • improper installation
  • misuse
  • overheating
  • neglect
  • unauthorized modification
  • damage caused by external engine failures or related components

2. Inspection & Assessment Process

All returned cylinder heads and components are professionally inspected and assessed according to the specific problem originally reported by the client.

Legacy Auto Authority reserves the right to:

  • conduct technical inspections
  • pressure test components where necessary
  • verify the reported fault before approving any replacement or refund

If the assessment confirms a valid issue with the supplied item, Legacy Auto Authority will provide a replacement item.


3. Replacement Policy

Where a valid issue is confirmed:

  • the customer will receive a replacement item of the same specification and condition, subject to stock availability

The replacement process is intended to resolve the issue before any refund consideration.


4. Refund Policy

If the replacement item is returned and the customer remains dissatisfied after a second assessment process, Legacy Auto Authority may approve a refund at its discretion.

Approved refunds:

  • are processed using the original payment method where possible
  • may take up to 7 working days to reflect, depending on banking processes and payment providers

Legacy Auto Authority reserves the right to decline refund requests where inspections indicate:

  • no fault with the product
  • incorrect installation
  • external engine damage
  • failure caused by unrelated components or workmanship

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following may not qualify for return or refund:

  • items damaged after delivery
  • incorrectly installed products
  • modified or tampered components
  • products supplied correctly according to customer specifications
  • special-order items unless defective

6. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • correct fitment and compatibility before installation
  • installation by qualified technicians or mechanics
  • proper engine diagnostics prior to replacing components

Legacy Auto Authority is not liable for:

  • labour costs
  • towing costs
  • downtime
  • secondary engine damage
  • loss of business or transport delays
